231 Now

Anyone notice how many pot holes are showing up all over the place? And not just little ones, they're so big you feel like your car just hit a tree or something. That, or you'll loose a tire for sure. I know everyone just says slow down and it wont be a problem. Well it's still a problem. Some roads are so bad you're better driving down the center of the road and over the yellow line than you are going slower. They say they fix them when they fill them in with tar and gravel-- but really, it's just a quick fix. More pot holes show up the next day.

I travel deer lake road twice a day almost everyday. It is terrible. There are so many pot holes that even if you go slow your going to hit them. My car shakes so bad sometimes I feel like it's going to fall apart and the next thing I know I'll be sitting on the ground. That stuff they put along the side of the road to prevent it from wearing down more is not going to last. It's already chipping away. I'm sure Deer Lake Rd isn't the only one in bad shape. Maybe instead of doing quick fixes all the time the road should just be re-done all together.
