Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan shouted," ALLAHU AKBAR" (God is Great) as he cold bloodedly gunned down soldiers at Fort Hood, in central Texas. That's the same cry that the Hijackers called on 9-11. That's the same call that the pilot of Egypt Air shouted as he drove his loaded plane 30,000 ft into the ocean and that's what the terrorist yelled as they sawed the head off of Nicolas Berg while he screamed and gurgled and died. It seems to be the rally cry of murdering Islamist the world over and once again it was ringing over American soil and once again we are asked to ignore it. President Obummer threw it out as a sidebar after praising his Sec.or Interior and his minions as he handed out beads and mirrors to the Tribal Chiefs of the First Americans. I guess Gumby the Mystic Muslim, felt he should say something about the killing by a radical Muslim so he told Americans "DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS". I know its hard not to when you hear that Maj. Hasan was writing blogs praising suicide bombers and telling everyone that the "War on Islam" was wrong and calling America(where he was born) the "GREAT SATAN"! Now me, I would tend to jump to the conclusion that Maj. Hasan had himself become radicalized and a Terrorist. I think that it's poignant that an Un-Veiled WOMAN policeman gunned him down and ended his radical days. I can only imagine that Gumby was on the phone to Farrakhan and CAIR to tell them he would do his best to quell any anti-Muslim fervor. Hell, maybe he can get his follower to actually believe it was the dead soldiers fault.

Islamists (separate from Islam) are extremists, sure. Their bad acts should be punished and their belief structure is not in harmony with any sort of free society. Does the PC culture protect them? Sure, probably.

But Ron, I see no distinction between the ideological harm caused by their beliefs (not their acts, mind you), and the harm caused by yours. You call democrats traitors, gay people perverts, and throw around absolutist insults like they were nothing. You engage in the same tactics and pathos as Islamists.

When will they be to blame (Islamists?) How much longer are we going to be hogtied by political correctness. How many plots and murders do we have to endure before we Americans stand up for ourselves? When are the Muslims going to say enough is enough and corral the extremists. I'm thinking never. The Wahhabi's that were allowed to build madras's' and teach their brand of hate inside our country, without fear because they know that there are elements in our government who are willing to tolerate it because they can use them for political purposes. Those same elements slaughtered Christians at Waco, but, will allow the Islamist to live/train/plot and kill while they hide behind the power of Political Correctness, empowered by the DemocRATIC Party.

I agree with Jeff and Troutonafly. This looks like the work of a Islamist nutjob. I think to blame this on "Islam" is just as bad as to ignore it.

Much of the press will ignore the Islam angle, and they would not if it were some crazy Christian screaming about abortion. Our job as honest-thinking Americans is to keep a balanced mind.

In my view, extremism and fundamentalism of all religions is an enemy of free society. This needs to be addressed.

Obama's going to Fort Hood on Tuesday. That not enough for you? How often should he go? How many times? Should he stay overnight there? For a week? A month? What?

"Am I racist to believe there is a small segment of the worlds muslim population that want to see everyone in America dead?" This is a reasonably sensible comment.

"A small segment" doesn't define an entire religion. People who are using this tragedy to condemn all Muslims are making the military's job of trying to prevent bigotry and acts of violence toward U.S. Muslim military personnel that much harder.

This guy is just another muslim extremist wacko. It really does not matter to me if we was associated with any particular group of extremist wackos. Am I racist to believe there is a small segment of the worlds muslim population that want to see everyone in America dead?

I'm not sure why any of us bother dignifying MoreRon's cognitive diarrhea. Much like the actual physical ailment he's full of it and it flows freely, commonly without any forethought. A small man with little to actually say. Starved for attention, under achieving most likely, and fightened of the things he doesn't understand (cowardly). That's really all I've ever been able to get from his pathetic, idiotic rants.

Hell, he jumped on AF-1 to go to Copenhagen to beg for the olympics(Unsuccessfully). He flew up to N.Y. to take his wife to the Theater and dinner, he flew all over to fundraisers, why couldn't he fly to Fort Hood, Texas, to comfort the grieving. Hell No, he flew to Camp David to rest. Rest from what? His continued Campaigning and fund raising, but, he's the Commander-in Chief and he should have been with his soldiers. He can run his Administration from Air Force One. As for Bill, I don't know him so I can't say, Maybe Axelrod or Emanuel made him vanish (lol).

That's all fine. But, whenever President Obummer leaves Washington for anything, you guys come unglued because he's ignoring national issues like Afghanistan or the economy, etc...So, I have a feeling he would have been criticized either way.

And, whenever I bring up George Bush, you respond with something like this (as in a previous post): "He's the big dog now, not Dubya, so its time the DemocRATS quit blaming him and MAN-UP!" So, I ask you, is the president supposed to focus on running the country, or holding grieving peoples' hands? If that sounds like I'm being insensitive, I apologize. I'm not. But you guys have to make up your minds here. Also, I have a feeling that George W. Bush has a little more time for such visits, not to mention he's right next door to Fort Hood. And the president will attend the memorial service at the base on Tuesday. So, I think he's balancing his priorities appropriately for someone with the responsibilities he has. And from what I could find out, the president had a pretty full schedule on Saturday afternoon, and didn't leave for Camp David until evening.

Lastly, it's pretty hard to sit on anything but your ass, so, technically, he probably did sit on his ass on Saturday. So, I'll have to give that one to you. Now, if he played golf while sitting on his ass, well, that would be something to talk about...

I AM glad you're finally finding pictures of Obama that at least make him look human. That's a start...

By the way, what happened to that Bill guy (Campaign for Liberty)? I go away for a few days and he's just disappeared without a trace, even his posts are gone. Did I dream all that, or something?
Ron Moore Comment by Ron Moore on November 8, 2009 at 6:32pm

Your right Jeff, I can't prove he actually played golf, like he seems to always do when he goes to Camp David. You caught me, so Ill delete all future reference's unless I' have absolute proof he did like he always does. So here goes. George Bush and his wife spent hours this morning visiting the wounded at Fort Hood, Texas and also visiting with some of the victims relatives, while President Obummer flew off to Camp David where he sat on his ass or played golf like he always does. There you happy?
Jeff Lange Comment by Jeff Lange on November 8, 2009 at 3:06pm
Ron,

I want you to publish the link that said Obama played golf on Saturday.
