Not even the Republican Party will let soon to be former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin fade into the background. This new L.A. Times story quotes some Republicans slamming Palin for her recent decision. And Mike Murphy also skewers her in a column from last week's NY Daily News: Many of her one-time admirers will shake their heads and grumpily admit to themselves that those liberal jerks in the media elite might have been right about this one after all.
And there's this from her grandson's father, Levi Johnston. Ouch.
Despite all this brow beating she's taking, a survey of Gallup polls show many Americans still support Palin.

Palin is a true lady. Being a decent lady has nothing to do with money, power , and politics. I have never seen so much cruelty and mean spiritedness by the people of this country. The Repubs used her then tossed her aside now they will kick her while she is down, trying to shift the blame away from their old boy network while the libtards are still slobbering and drooling over a want to be dictator. No one wants to grow old and die but when I see how things have changed with morals and values and decency gone out the door I am glad I glad I was born long enough ago to see the country at it's best, and will never to be again. My hope is the Repubs will take back control enough next year to put the brakes on this non stop spending/taxing President that the majority was hoodwinked or paid by Acorn into voting for. Good luck to seniors with the new health care proposal. Seniors will be shoved aside to die by being refused medicines and health care so illegal immigrants and hard core welfare recipients can be insured using your Medicaire dollars that you paid into while you were working. What ever happened to good old values with a dose of conservatism? Wake up people before it's too late to stop the train wreck.
