Julie Public vs. private employees and concessions

I've been pretty shocked by the "bargaining" going on in the public sector. While us lowly few left with jobs at private businesses sit back accepting increases in health care costs and feel blessed to simply have a job (obviously eating any hopes of wage increases), government employees and teachers are holding out for wage increases and benefits packages paid for on our backs.
