It took three viewings of the following trailer for me to realize this wasn't a parody. It's that silly.

Yes folks, "TEA PARTY: The Documentary" is coming to...well..to your house on DVD if you want it to. Now I can't decide whether to buy "Going Rogue" or the Tea Party DVD. I could always take the third, less painful option of running naked through a plate-glass window.

The video below gives a hilarious, yet at the same time, pathetic, glimpse into the mind (or mindlessness) of the garden variety Palin supporter. These people who attended a recent book signing have no real idea how government, or much of anything else, works in this country. What's worse, most can't even explain, beyond uttering catch-phrases such as, "Drill, baby, drill", "Freedom" or "Tax cuts", which policies they would like to see pursued by the half-term Governor.

Yesterday, the NRA called me for an emergency donation. For half a minute, I listened while a pre-recorded, tormented, Wayne LaPierre described how the United Nations was poised to strip Americans of all their firearms, and make gun ownership illegal. The Second Amendment was in imminent demise! What was I being called upon to do? Contribute. Big time. This was the big one. The UN was trumping even Obama's plan to steal our guns! And ripping the 2nd Amendment right out of the Bill of Rights!
